george Carlin had a routine years ago "Two in the mouth, pop two in the mouth," in reference to housewives making it through the day on pills.
I haven't thought about Valley of the Dolls in forever. I'm not sure I've ever even seen the movie - but I remember it for Patty Duke as much as I do for Sharon Tate. That was quite a different role for her after The Patty Duke Show. And I closely followed the whole Sharon Tate/Charles Manson thing.

I saw Valley Of The Dolls several times, it was kind of a cult hit back then I think. I had forgotten about it also. And they say prozac nation now, that was the valium nation. I love that stones song too. But I would love to have one of those "new" pills you link to.

I love that video. What an awesome day for that young man. I wonder if he is the equivilant of a savant in basketball and they just didn't know it? That many baskets? I wonder if he will get to play more now. I haven't read his story. Either way what a great day. And why DO you give yourself such a hard time? Maybe because you care- not everyone does. I bet you do more than some teachers around there, and that's not a bash on teachers, I have the greatest respect growing up as the child of a teacher. It's jsut that they're not all perfect either. I'm just sayin.
