I can't imagine living with violence like that. How sad.

Oh Steph, I'm so sorry to hear that news. You have more than your share of trials and tribulations there. They say God moves in mysterious ways, but one has to wonder always... why? What is the purpose? It's so hard for us mortals to know the answer.

such a tragedy. just what the world needs, another one & another one & another one. i dont get or understand those kind of things myself, who does ? we can rise above it all by soving it somehow with our thinkings or try to but does that really ever occur or do we just fool ourselves into feeling better that way ? one never knows about any of it these days & that in itself is another tragedy. there is one going on here next door right now, too. sharon bohalls mom just died. i dont know if you recall sharon but ive written about her before. shes the one i went to cal with & used to hang around with, she thought her you know what didnt stink. her mom was nicer than she was. i just saw her mom at the store & thought to myself that she didnt look good & wasnt going to make it. for some weird reason i can tell that. i stay away from mirrors ! believe me, i have my reasons, lol. well, anyway. give that young lady a big hug & you take care, too. watch where you walk so that the sidewalk doesnt talk & i'll chat with you laters.

Ugh, Steph, I'm so sorry. It is so sad for the community when violence takes a young person. Sending healing energy your way.

What a waste. You'd think with Bush killing our kids for his fun and his buddies' profit that the young ones would vow not to kill each other. What kind of life will his child have knowing his daddy died in the street like a dog? We must figure out how to show our children a better way. ~LA

Oh, how awful! Cee is going to need a lot of support, losing the love of her life and her little one's daddy. When I lost Rich, one of the places I went to (and 24/7 since it's on the Internet) was www.widownet.com There are so many who can help by listening and comforting and I am sad to say there are quite a number of young widows with small children. If you feel it would help Cee, please give her the website URL. Peace...
