What a bad deal. I hope you will get an appointment soon. I am at this moment dealing with a huge mess caused by the receptionist at my dentist office.

Ha! I SO know your pain, but I need to tell you that I was just able to black out Christmas day at the office that I work at (New Years Day is still open - sigh). Sometimes the office staff has no control over scheduling.

I can't say I know your pain, although I do get headaches sometimes for days, but not like yours. The Jewish Dr. who takes off for Yom Kippur, even after they said they were open,OK. But to turn around and take off Columbus Day too? An Italian Jewish Dr.?, or one who just wants another day off. Not to get you riled up again but, bad form , I'd say, bad form.

GAH! I DETEST that kind of incompetency! Like you said, it's not freaking rocket science. Sweetie, it's hard to have faith, but I sincerely hope the IV therapy gives you some relief. I'm with you on the 'rest and bring me food' thing! Too bad you can't check into a Marriot or something and do your therapy there. Cheaper than a hospital and far more comfy. Good luck getting an appointment. Hope there's good news for you soon, honeybunch. ~LA

As I read your entry, I thought of Nance and her tales of working in a medical office and I wondered if you were a Disfunction Junction reader... and then I turned to your Comments section and the second entry is from Nance! Heh! Those repeated cancellations are really annoying... on top of the pain from your headache, etc.

Unforgiveable. I would fire that doctor and promptly hire a new one. No forgiveness - nuh-uh... actually you should ask your idiot doctor to recommend another doctor for you to go to... they hate that! Tell him you would like to be cared for by someone who cares next time!

Oh my God. That is just unconscionable. I'm with Bex -- find someone new!

The problem with finding someone new is - this is the first neurologist I've been to that actually takes my headaches seriously. Sigh.
