Oh my gosh, I got goosebumps reading that article. I can absolutely imagine that concert. I also imagine you and me there together, Stephanie, two big Bruce fans - wouldn't that be wild??

Wild and innocent with an E Street shuffle thrown in for good measure! I knew you'd appreciate that entry, Stefani! :)

Not being a Springsteen fan (sorry!) I just closed my eyes and substituted another name in your description and I also got goosebumps. I think I was a tad too old for Bruce. Plus I don't like loud music much, but was more into folk music in the 60's. But that's just me. I'm glad you had so much fun at it. I also hope 2007 will bring you some joy and happiness because lord knows you deserve it!

I'm a bit older but I was (still am) a Springsteen fan. I remember the 1980 era as being a very good time -- Nancy & I were married in 1979, bought our first house in 1980, and Jill was born in 1982. Good lord! Ir just struck me that in 1981 I was the same age as my son Adam is today. P.S. -- "The Big Voice" is worth a trip down on MetroNorth -- about a mile walk from Grand Central (or grab a cab) -- see Steve's Web page http://bonusroundblog.blogspot.com/ for info about discount tickets, save $15.50 per ticket from list price

Hey Patti - remember how he came out for yet another encore AFTER THE STADIUM LIGHTS WENT ON? That concert was one of the best times of my life, and having you share it with me made it even better!

really enjoyed that springsteen memory, tickets were only 12.00 when i used to whoop it up at concerts out in denver, that was big money back then & so was the weed that was priced at around that same price, lol. everything that was good back then was around 12.00, i could get an album or two for that money & for the same i could get a cool shirt or pair of jeans. it was really rockin when i could get all the above all at once, whee fun ! those days are gone but springsteen lives on & thats much, much better than none, lol. seeya at the looney tooney factory, byeeeee. d
