Delbert McClinton, John Hiatt, and the subdudes for bluesy, funky rock. I can recommend my favorite songs, because Delbert can be quite country sometimes, John can be a bit over-the-top, and the 'dudes can be a little repetitive. But they're most always great. Oh, and Little Feat -- Waiting for Columbus is their best album (and I was at the concert where they recorded it!).

Any, and all, Dave Matthews, Big Head Todd,Santana,Janis,Peter Gabriel, Steeley Dan, David Byrne, Crosby Stills Nash and Young and sometimes even James Taylor. My husband is a music maniac, thousands of CDs tapes MP3's and even vinyl so I have no need to have favorites, it's all here.
