I agree about Anna Nicole Smith -- there's no need to be cruel. I feel sorriest for that little baby. (Hug for you.)

I agree that it's sad about Anna Nicole Smith. I just hate the attention the media is giving this and comparing her to Marily Monroe, Jean Harlow & Jane Mansfield. Anna Nicole Smith was a woman who took drugs and surrounded herself with people willing to get them for her. It really is a wonder that she survived this long.

I also agree about Anna Nicole. And although I was never a fan of hers my heart broke for her when her son died. I hope she rests in peace from her grief.

I was shocked adn saddened to hear Anna had passed away yesterday. I felt very bad for her and did watch her shows. She seemed to be manipulated by her "handlers" and she never seemed free of drugs, one or another. But she had a big heart and I believe she was a good person, even though she made some bad choices throughout her life. I also loved Marilyn and I see a lot of similarities between the two of them. I wish like hell you didn't hurt so much, Steph. I know what that pain is like and I don't wish it on anyone. I hope your docs can help you with it.

I wasn't a fan of Anna Nicole either. But she seemed to be a person that had a hard time in life. I think she just wanted to be liked and found a lot of people that used her.Her death made me sad after all she has been through I hope the baby will have a good life. Hope you feel better. Hang in there.

Ugh, I'm sorry your sciatica has gotten so bad. This freezing weather doesn't help, does it? I think my muscles are constantly tensed because of the cold. I've made so many bad choices that I couldn't possibly judge someone else for his or her choices. Sure, Anna Nicole made some doozies, but that doesn't mean she's undeserving of compassion. Her son dying was so sad, and now I wonder what's going to happen to her baby. I hope this paternity suit mess isn't a long, ugly process.

I,like so many others was shocked and saddened to hear of Anna Nicole Smith's death. In all honesty I had to ask myself why since her drug habits were legendary. I did see her T.V. show a couple of times and it was painful to watch and I made a point of never seeing it again. As for her son, I can't even begin to imagine his pain and confusion. Stephanie, the comment you speak of, horrible as it is, is but the tip of the iceberg. We have entered a time where it is considered entertainment to get a good laugh over public humiliation. Anyone who made the consistently self-destructive choices ANS did cannot possibly provide an instant of humor for anyone. Now this little girl is left and it appears as though she may be nothing more than a meal ticket for several people. All this tragedy, including my own foolish choices at times, has completely turned me off of anyone who makes money and gets a laugh at the expense of another person's pain. It's all just too sad.

Stephanie, I too didn't have a great affection for Anna but I left her to her own life and preferences. I was shocked that so many people could be cruel to a woman that had buried a child the same week that she gave birth to one amd within the same decade that she married and buried a husband. I don't think that not even one person that looked at this woman of passion even considered that she may have actually loved her husband and that she may have been robbed of life so many times. I wouldn't have wanted to live either if my beloved husband and my first born died either.
