The cards never lie, which is why I haven't touched a deck for 14 months. I've been terrified what they might say... I'm a novice, too, though, but like any IRAB Witch, I can interpret with said book (IRAB standing for "I Read A Book"!)...

I have a gorgeous goddess tarot deck that I use, although I'm still memorizing the goddesses it uses for the major arcana. Anyway, I'm glad you had a nice lunch out! I will be mailing a certain package to you very soon, btw. I didn't forget. ;)

Reading your travails always makes my problems look miniscule.

Most excellent news about the comp. Get yourself on track to feel better. The offer still stands if you need help getting someplace. My kiddo is in school right across the river from you so it could be done..... during school hours. Do you hear me nudging you.... ????? No chore dear, I would love to meet face to face. Congrats on the cards!!

That is good news about worker's comp and sick days, etc. I think it was Napoleon who said "Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

I'm really glad that things are working out with the Workers Comp! Good for you sticking to it -- or maybe sticking it to (them)! I love Dr. Seuss too -- great mugs! (I almost said "nice jugs" but thought better of it - heh.)

I just don't get it - WC should have begun paying you 2/3 your average wage after you were off work for one week. ONE WEEK. I don't know how your HR handles leave, but when I was doing it, ever third day off was a sick day, with the other two no pay (since WC was covering them). That way you don't eat thru your sick leave nearly as fast. What a bunch of morons!!!! At least you're making some progress tho! And there's nothing better than a friend who likes to share their food!

Man! It's like pulling teeth with these WC folks--yes, I know that there are scammers out there, but damn! When someone has an obvious claim, why the runaround? It's almost as if they're having to pay you out of their personal bank account!

Marvin K Mooney is my favorite Dr. Seuss book! I haven't thought about that book in ages. Love the doggies - and I'm glad you're finally getting somewhere with WC.

I'd be INSANE by now, with all the bureaucratic red tape and runarounds you're enduring. I hope it's all straightened out soon. I've never learned how to read tarot cards, but I'm fascinated by them and have a couple of decks I bought mostly because of the gorgeous artwork. How cool you found a deck with your last name--I'd take that as a sign, too. Those mugs are great. :) I love Dr. Seuss, too.
