I'm so sorry that you're going through all of this pain and I hope that you can get the appropriate care to fix you up, soon!

Awww....crap! These doctors is evil, I tells ya! EVIL! I love how they don't seem to understand the concept of pain (besides giving you pills, and now with the DEA breathing down their necks, dispense far less than is needed for people who actually need pain management). I suggest the next time you see this doctor, bring a hammer, then crack 'em in the spine. See how THAT rates on their scale!

Criminy Stephanie, perhaps in some way or another you can get a spine doctor who has a bit of sense involved in your case. Hmph, telling a person what can't cause pain is a ridiculous thing, especially when the patient is suffering the pain you are.

I type for neurologists who deal with spinal pain that radiates to extremities, etc. They always do test to "rule out" everything - that is the only way they can find the cause, and sometimes they never do find a definitive cause. Spinal radicular pain is very elusive. I wish I could be more optimistic, but from what I've observed over the years, it's just not something that is black and white, or cut and dry. I have experience with spine pain too and I totally sympathize with you. It's frustrating and disheartening and makes you wonder if life is really worth it. I've been to the point where I was sure it wasn't, but it eventually eased up and I just have to be real careful now all the time. I have no answers but I will still included you in my prayers each day.

Hope you had a wonderful anniversary! What did you wind up choosing at the resturant? Please tell me you got dessert, too. :) Man, I can't believe you were "approved" to go back to work with all the pain you're still having. Can you insist on having a chair available instead of standing so much? I remember standing was really hard for my mom before she had disc surgery. A pox on unsympathetic doctors, too. Grrrrrrrrrr.

Doctor's are such retards and it irritates me when they don't listen to us when we talk about our bodies. I mean, we live with them 24/7 you'd think the docs would take that into consideration instead of dismissing our complaints.
