Wait..what?!!! You're returning to work on TUESDAY?! I have two questions...how and why? Are you continuing the therapy the other doctor ordered, or the worker's comp doctor? Also, nice cake!

What a good looking cake. I always wonder why your hubby doesn't help with things around the house? I would rather go out to eat anyway, much easier.

Believe me, Daniel DOES help around the house. He does all the dusting and vacuuming, and the laundry. But he was in Canada this past week for Passover, so those things didn't get done.

I'd be freaking out too! Let's hope justice is done and the kid joins his father. But today, enjoy your family and that wonderful cake!

That is weird, just glad the person is in jail. I always say, "watch your back," and that just makes it even more so. I believe in following my gut feelings about everything. I wish I could eat some of your yummy looking pound cake. It isn't on my list of 12 foods I can eat now. Hoppy Easter!! =^..^=

I guess "catsoul" and I must be on the same food regimen... Cake is definitely not on my menu any time soon, but the picture of it was lovely, and as I sit here sipping my lemon-ginger green tea (caffeine-free), I'm mentally devouring a large piece of it! Thanks.

Stephanie, because your husband and my son have the same name, I always do a double-take when I see you mention "Daniel"--especially when it involves dusting and laundry! Not my Daniel's forte. ;-) Chocolate chips AND Irish cream? Oh. My. God. That would ensure a happy Easter for me. Hell of a note when those who work at schools have to tread on eggshells around potentially violent students!

RYC: I meant to say "everyone", but was so disturbed by the image of a young lady with yooge overly-glossed lips chewing like a cow in the hallway in front of me, that my rant was simply slanted towards the fairer sex. But definitely, if you can't chew it without opening your mouth and making noise, then chew it at home.

Cake looks delicious. I'm afraid there are more kids in the school near me that wouldn't think twice before hurting someone.

That's very scary stuff about that student. I hope he stays gone and in jail!
