I was just wondering--have they ever considered sending you to a pain management doctor? Not that you wouldn't have to go through physical therapy, etc., but damn! Life would be ever so much easier if you weren't hurting as much!

And people think that leeches and bloodletting were "primitive and cruel". I think the pain management doc idea is worth looking into. They at least understand that stuff hurts and their main goal is to relieve the pain.

Well, here's hoping that the "dry needling" (is it comparable to acupuncture?) gives you some sort of relief. It's also a bonus to have a personable physician working on you!

I did see a pain management specialist, but treatment is pending authorization from Worker's Comp. And, yes, Bex, dry needling is similar to acupuncture.

Oh I want you to feel better, girl. Have you heard of the guaifensein protocol for fibro treatment? I've been looking into it. It sure sounds promising. Although I think I just have thyroid problems, not fibro..
