Bats are said to harmless but I only think so when they are outside. I sure wouldn't want them in my house. I hope you don't have more. Wonder if you put a bat house outside, if they would stay out?

I was also thinking that if you put a bat-house or two outside, they might pick up stakes and move out there! Of course, if you were in love with bats, and were wishing for some to come live with you, none would show up. That's just the way life goes. Maybe if you use reverse psychology on them, and hope they come, they will go away!

Soon as I have gas and toll money I'll come over and twinkle the house against bat invasions. Ditto looking for entry points and helping/advising Mike. 'Kay? Love you bunches! ~LA

This is early for the bats. They are know for silly acts of home entry in late July and early August. Seems the youngsters get confused and find their way in..... Have LA twinkle the place, seal things up and keep a large fish or butterfly net handy. We have had alot of bat activity around the house but out here in the woods that is normal. I am waiting for our first houseguest of the year, sigh.

Bats? EEK! MY bedroom *is* the attic! But I don't think we have the same problem away from wooded areas at the beach.

I remember 30 years ago, on vacation with our kids and staying in the home of some friends who had a live-in bat hanging out (literally, I guess) in the rafters who flew around over our heads at night. I slept with my head under the covers!

LOL. Loved your confirmation story on my guestbook. I didn't throw up during confirmation, but I regularly wet my pants standing in line waiting to go to confession!

We get bats on occasion. The cats go nuts and the boys sleep with racquetball rackets. Such fun! But it is early for the confused babies. What a pain!
