Yes, those do look like Rhode Island pictures. We spent Thursday on Block Island and then on Friday, after visiting a couple of historic sites, ended up taking a nice walk on East Matunuck State Beach in late afternoon (after the crowds had departed).

It's nice you had a good day out. You deserve it! I'd almost forgotten what a day at the beach looks like. I grew up on a beach but haven't been for many years. Getting the day off is a problem, but also I wouldn't be caught dead in a bathing suit at this stage. Not to mention all that sun burning into my over sensitive skin. I can't believe people actually still sit out IN the sun anymore...haven't they heard of skin cancers?
